“We were very impressed by the level of collaboration and discovery in this year’s entries,” said Edison Universe Executive Director Frank Bonafilia. “Somehow, while facing the unprecedented challenges of this global pandemic, companies around the world figured out how to work safely and smartly and still innovate at an award-winning level.”

Originally established in 1987, the Edison Awards have recognized and honored some of the most innovative products and business leaders in the world and is among the most prestigious accolades honoring excellence in new product and service development, marketing, design, and innovation. Winners represent “game-changing” products, services, and excellence and leadership in innovation around four criteria: Concept, Value, Delivery, and Impact.

This recognition follows recent momentum from Mentor Spaces, including two partnerships with National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA®) and INROADS to scale mentorship on the Mentor Spaces platform. With these two partnerships totaling more than 50,000 professionals, Mentor Spaces is now the largest mentorship community for underrepresented talent. Mentor Spaces was also only one of six early-stage startups recently accepted into the SAP.iO Foundry San Francisco Future of Work accelerator program.
